Where to buy dance shoes:
Students will need a simple leather ballet slipper or jazz shoe for class. A second option would be a jazz sneaker or modern shoe. The last two are less acceptable because a sneaker limits foot strength and maneuverability while the modern shoe offers limited coverage, allowing for a greater possibility of injury. There is no need to purchase a new pair of dance shoes if you already have a pair, and a used pair is perfectly
fine!
Below are a number of resources for purchasing dance supplies. My experience has been good with many of these businesses but I encourage you to use whatever resources work best for you.
*Remember to buy BIG so you don't have to buy a second pair before the end of the year. I recommend fitting with a thick sock.
